Description
Is it a stool or table? That’s for you to decide. Meticulously crafted in solid wood with hand-turned legs, the 524 Tabouret Berger Stool (1953) has a comfortable scooped seat and sturdy tripod base. The continuity of the wood grain from across the seat and around the edges furthers the warmth and softness of this piece. Designed by the magnificent Charlotte Perriand, the 524 Tabouret Berger Stool was inspired by life in the mountains, and takes its name from the milking stools used by alpine shepherds. Made in Italy.
